Identity
Theft is the number one crime in the US. It is a serious crime that
occurs when your personal information is stolen and used without your
knowledge to commit fraud or other crimes. Identity Theft can cause
you time and money. It can destroy your credit and ruin your good name.
The Latin American Community Center offers
FREE Identity Theft prevention classes for seniors or their care
givers in both English and Spanish.
Participants of the program attend a
one-hour class a week (English on Tuesdays & Spanish on Thursdays)
for a period of four weeks. Dinner is provided in each session. Participants
who complete the program receive a certificate of completion.
