Development & Fundraising Description
Open House (September) Setup and breakdown, and escorts.
Annual Grand Ball (pre-event support begins May) Stuffing and mailing invitations.
Annual Grand Ball / Baile de Gala (October) Register guests, escorts and host/ hostesses.
Spring Fundraiser Event (May) Volunteers needed to help plan and implement event.
Special Events Description
Hispanic Student Recognition (pre-event support) Help with nominees interview process

Award Ceremony
(April)
Setup and break down, escorts , and host/hostess
Mother’s Day Celebration (May) Volunteers needed to help organize and set up a mother’s day celebration. Food donations are welcome.
Mexican Consulate Need volunteers for escorts and general help.
Children & Youth Description
Summer Day Camp Tutoring on basic reading, grammar, and arithmetic from June to August.
After School Mentoring Services Mentor school age children by serving as a role model, being a friend, reinforcing positive attitude, assisting with academic assignments and setting goals.
Read to Children La Fiesta Development Center seeks volunteers to read to 1-5 year old children one-on-one. Book donations are welcome.
Graduation Ceremony (May) La Fiesta Development Center seeks volunteers to help organize and set up graduation ceremony for the preschoolers.  
Event usually takes place at Banning Park.
Niños Bien Educados Parenting Classes Help organize session and assist baby-sitter with children.
Women’s Support Group Assist baby-sitter to care for women’s children.
Adults Description
English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutors to work with adult ESL students.  
Monday through Thursday. Administrative/clerical help to maintain student files.
Seniors Description
Senior Support Group & Activities Assist with food distribution every Monday at 3:00pm

Accompany seniors on outings every Friday from 3:00 – 6:00pm

Agency Wide Support Description
Volunteer Coordinator Someone to develop and implement a volunteers management program including, recruiting, training, scheduling and recognition.
Administrative Clerical Support Volunteers needed to help re-organize client files (alphabetize, type labels, etc.)
Centralize Database Design, develop, and implement a centralize client data base.  
Also seek a volunteer for data entry.
Staff Development To organize and implement training workshops on both hard and soft skills.
Staff Retreat Annual staff retreat held to provide staff development. We seek facilitators, speakers, and facilities.
Strategic Planning Agency is working on revisiting the strategic plan. We are looking for people to attend focus groups meetings, take notes and be able to compile information into required forms.
