The Latin American Community Center could not exist without the generosity and support of our friends and neighbors. Donations from individuals, foundations and corporations play a critical role in advancing our work with immigrant families, neighborhood children and youth, senior citizens and others. Contributions directly benefit important programs such as domestic violence prevention and treatment, computer literacy and computer building programs, job placement services, parent education classes and more.

If you would like to help people gain skills to strengthen themselves and their community, please make a donation to the Latin American Community Center. Ask your employer to make a matching gift.

Appreciated Securities

Any gift of appreciated securities, including mutual funds, which you have owned for at least one year can be donated to the Latin American Community Center House without incurring capital gains tax. The deduction is the fair market value of the stock on the day you make the gift. Such gifts are fully deductible up to 30% of your adjusted gross income; any excess can be carried over for five additional years.
